Manager & Funeral Director
Manager of James R Hill, Mark Reinsfield has been a funeral director since 2003 and has a National Diploma in Funeral Services. Mark is a member of the FDANZ and also NZEA. “Coming to Hills is like coming back to my home turf,” Mark says. “I grew up in the Fairfield suburb, went to school at Fairfield Primary, Fairfield Intermediate and Fairfield College.” Before becoming a funeral director, Mark had a variety of professions, including, welding, farming and sales. He was also the pastor of a church in the Manawatu and then Whangarei. In his spare time he can be found playing a round of golf or fishing. Mark and Wendy have been married since 1977 and they have 4 children and to date 14 grandchildren.
Funeral Director & Celebrant
K-M (Kerrie-Maree) Adams is a funeral director and celebrant at James R Hill Funeral Directors, Hamilton. She is also a freelance voice talent, MC and has been a Marriage Celebrant for the past 10 years or so, a Broadcaster and has dabbled in musical theatre.
She worked as a radio broadcaster and voice talent for over 20 years in various roles throughout New Zealand including Breakfast Show co-host at BOP FM in Tauranga, afternoon Drive host at ZM in Wellington and as co-host of the Breakfast Show on ZHFM, MORE FM and The Breeze in Hamilton. After leaving radio, K-M worked as Executive Manager for the not-for-profit Dress for Success (DFS) organization for three years, overseeing their move into new premises in Alexander Street. An organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing them with work-appropriate clothing and support for job interviews and career development.
Self-employed as a full-time wedding and funeral celebrant, MC and voice talent, she has voiced hundreds of commercials for both radio and television, appeared on TV in commercials and written and performed a one woman show for the 2020 Hamilton Gardens Festival.
K-M has been married for 23 years and is a mother of three children, aged 17, 10 and 7 (2020).
